Create a mobile app which allows the city to communicate the snow removal status and schedule through their open-data portal, on a street by street basis with a simple color code. Citizens can save targeted street sides to receive notifications, which allows them to plan their parking more efficiently.

Nike’s Workplace Design team out of Beaverton, Oregon approached Jacknife to help envision Nike Canada’s brand new headquarters. The brief? Bring to life a workspace that inspires creative thinking and connects staff and visitors to each other and to the brand.
We needed to create a branded environment which celebrates the uniqueness of the Canadian market while also establishing deep ties back to the World Headquarters. To achieve this we developed a “Rough and Refined” theme – a celebration of the diverse nature of the Canadian landscape and its people, from the roughness of our natural landscape to our refined modern urban centres. As Canadians, we take pride in our sometimes harsh environment and the unique grit required to be an all seasoned athlete here.
We developed an extensive series of art-based installations through the new offices including a massive sculptural “Just Do It” made up of iconic shoe patterns floating on a dimensional map of Toronto, an intricate wooden slat wall and ceiling installation forming the Nike logo, a boardroom wall and seating installation made from actual basketball court material and a hand-painted logo, multiple large-scale wall murals featuring both the brand and the fabric of Canada, iconic footwear painted on concrete columns throughout the space, custom tile work “Run Faster” in employee kitchen, and a wooden type installation featuring chainsaw cut letters.
In order to execute on such a broad array of interactions, we assembled and orchestrated a team of highly skilled local craftspeople from a variety of disciplines ranging from sign painters to woodworking experts and speciality sculptors. Ultimately, we created a modern space that embodies the spirit of the Nike brand, tells intriguing and discoverable stories and inspires their team on a daily basis.

We did research and a 360º marketing analysis before developing the brand strategy for positioning of a new product in the market. The research showed a number of potential competitors in the online restaurant training industry. Our challenge was to create a brand positioning, marketing strategy and brand model that would allow RESTGU™ to stand out with its innovative approach in the market of educational products. The two RESTGU™ digital platforms — RESTGU™ Guide and RESTGU™ Life Style — needed to complement each other in providing all necessary tools for convenient and productive learning for achieving the RESTGU™ certification.

Timon is the Director of Macadamian's growing business in connected health and the Medical Internet of Things (MIoT). Responsible for Macadamian’s IP strategy, partnerships, and emerging technology development initiatives.
Jennifer brings almost 20 years of involvement in user experience design to Macadamian. She collaborates with clients through every phase of a project – from the initial product and design strategy, through to the detailed design and implementation.
Scott has worked over 25 years in user experience design. His background in industries such as aviation, telecom, government, and healthcare has been instrumental in matching the right design and technology choices to our clients’ business goals.
As the Director of Engineering, Bogdan brings an amazing depth and breadth of technical expertise in areas such as Cloud development, security, Web, and distributed and large scale applications.
David has been involved in software design and development for more than 10 years and holds Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Yerevan State University.
Richard plays a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of the Macadamian’s project delivery success. A seasoned, certified Project Management Professional, he has a consistent track record of success in the management and delivery of multiple projects and in ensuring excellent customer service.
Geoff has over 20 years experience in the software development industry and has worked in a variety of fields including medical devices, health information systems, enterprise integration, scientific modeling, speech recognition, cloud, and cluster computing.

A very thorough Discovery was initiated between the TRI team and the Monkeys to help establish relevant features and functions that fit into the budget and project scope. The extra effort put into this phase was integral to saving time and precious budget dollars towards development and implementation of important project goals.

Traditionally only banks had access to consumer financial data.
However as of January 2018, PSD2 now enables businesses other than banks, to securely access customer financial and account-based information.
Open Banking is encouraging innovation across the financial service sector, enabling industry wide disruption.
The success of Open Banking, is dependant on strong consumer adoption,and with a large stakeholder group including banks, third-parties, consumer groups and government it became apparent that design thinking was needed to help align disparate conversation.
A need to define what the best possible user experience will look like for the whole of the UK. We supported the Open Banking team to turn hard-to-digest technical specifications into interactive experiences that could be tested with real users.
With over 120 tested user experiences, we turned our insights into design standards. This has seen a 50% increase in API calls from May to June.
