Project OverviewThe AR Fitting Room is a virtual fitting room which allows users to pick out clothing and try them all out virtually. This project is built on the most sophisticated technologies: augmented reality and Microsoft Kinect. Augmented reality enables the customers to select a piece of clothing without having to try it on physically. As a customer, you see yourself on-screen with a 3D copy of a dress. Kinect is used to take a scan of a body then they can apply their choice of attire on a screen, letting them quickly check out how a piece of clothing looks on them.ClientA private investor.IndustryE-commerce.ChallengeThe challenge was to create a virtual fitting room that allows customers to see an accurate reflection of what a particular item will look like on them. Brandster is a Florida-based retail brand with multiple websites that sell outdoor furniture, grills, and accessories to B2B and B2C clients. To support their growth, we helped them redesign 8 unique sites using the Magento multi-site / multi-store feature. The main Magento 1.9 site was migrated to Magento 2 utilizing their multi-site capabilities.
The goal was a group of responsive sites with streamlined navigation, enhanced checkout options, rich product data, customized shipping and enhanced functionality for their internal sales team.
 
Implementation
Part of the Magento 2.0 migration involved implementing a few modern and powerful eCommerce features to make the Brandster experience more convenient.
The first was adding a return merchandise authorization module. It allows registered and guest uses to create new return and exchange requests - and then processes them automatically.
Next, a sales rep module was added to the site to track the orders by a sales rep. Along with this, we created advanced reports to better identify and compensate the high performing sales reps and provide admins with up-to-date data..
Finally, we customized the request a quote functionality to give users enhanced ability to request quotes by bundling multiple products on the website.
 
Next Phase
Migrating to Magento 2.0 gave Brandster the immediate boost they needed to remain competitive, and set the stage for continued growth.
That's why every feature and module in the new multi-site supports rapid expansion at scale. Currently, Brandster can offer a seamless multi-channel experience to their customers so they can grow the business across various marketplaces.
When they are ready, the website already has the infrastructure to convert to a true omnichannel experience. The future has no technological limits for Brandster!

BACKGROUNDCRT is one of the world’s leading interventional cardiology conferences that is attended by more than 3,000 interventional and endovascular specialists yearly. They came to us looking to set up a strong social presence to inform their audience about the upcoming CRT conference, as well as provide our audience with the latest news in interventional cardiology.OUR STRATEGYWe first took a deep dive into their current social media accounts to investigate their low engagement. We discovered that an old agency had run non-targeted ad campaigns to help pad their follower statistics month over month. This led to CRT having a social following made up of an audience uninterested in their topic matter. Thus, we began working to help improve this audience problem by creating brand awareness campaigns that targeted our exact market and informed them about CRT. We also used a highly targeted boosting campaign for organic posts to ensure our social posts were seen by our intended audience, which is very niche.  OUR TACTICSThrough Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, we were able to create a strong and consistent social presence that our audience could rely on. Our social sites became a hub for interventional cardiologists to learn the latest news in their field and interact with one another. BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT We saw a dramatic increase in social activity that pinnacled at the conference as people talked about and shared their experiences while they were there. DISCOVER
Abbey was running her ecommerce business through a combination of Etsy to sell her products and a personal WordPress blog to share DIY’s and recipes. While it was working well enough for the sale of her enamel pins, she wanted a better way to sell her custom embroidered jackets and bring her blog and storefront together in the same environment. She also wanted a chance to and a website that truly expressed her company. Our goals were to create an easy e-commerce experience for Abbey’s growing business and a website that expressed the tremendous amount of fun and sass that Daily Disco fans have come to love.
DESIGN
Taking inspiration from Daily Disco’s extremely popular Instagram account, as well as the custom embroidery, we pulled together a color palette best described as a “fiesta.” It included a hot pink used in Daily Disco’s new logo, as well as green, aqua blue, yellow, and red.
To capture the bold and sweet nature of Daily Disco, we paired two fonts together: a thick san serif called Proxima Nova and a curly, handwritten font called Quimby Mayoral. We also developed several hand-drawn patterns to be used across the site for texture and interest.
DESIGN MADE FUN
We wanted everything about the shopping process to be fun. This led us to explore a non-traditional grid where products were laid out on cards in a diagonal scrolling pattern down the page. When you hover over a product, it releases what we call “confetti” or little icons and a big, fun word that represents that product.
We also designed custom icons to represent the categories of her blog. With bright colors and a clean illustration style, these added a pop of fun to an otherwise functional piece.
