Cool Posters Print Design
The best print designs use captivating imagery via photographs or artistic illustration to awaken our senses and make people want to get a closer look to find the message within.
Argentinian graphic designer Mane Tatoulian created a series of "Cool Posters" that blend abstract design with promotional aspects.
The above poster features a color splash of pink, blue and white. It has a tie-dye feel and takes the form of a continent like Australia. The beautiful use of the long white rectangle adds a unique element that is eye-catching. Small text in the upper left-hand corner reads “poem self-discovery morphology.”
The word “color” is well spaced and spans the entire width of the poster. The spacing provides breathing room and invites the eyes closer to bask in this artistic and colorful visual display of creativity.
The next poster represents an electronic house music festival called “Energy 2.0/Deep House Music Festival.”
The colors are mind-blowingly vivid. Yellow, pink, blue, and a matrix/computer digital green fuse into what appears to be a literal dance of energy. This represents the dancing and energy exhibited at electronic music festivals.
The 128 beats per minute of heart-pumping kick and snare drum. The sweeping and euphoric strings and chords. The amazing acts of kindness and feelings of community and love that bring everyone together through music. That is the genius of this poster.
Mane’s signature vertical white rectangle adds a focus to disrupt the psychedelic visual trance. It is beautiful.
Next, we have another version of the deep house music festival poster. The festival naming letters are melted on top of each other to represent the visual effects of the dazzling light shows at electronic festivals. The neon blue and pink and green also pay homage to the lighting effects that make these festivals incredible experiences.
This poster features a science theme with a new take on the periodic table of elements but with hieroglyphic symbols. A pink sphere planet hides behind the table with rugged purple and pink gemstone jewels glowing behind. The glyph letters feature spectacular pink-to-purple color gradients.
Notice the subtle molecule added in the lower left corner of the poster. It is the perfect size to add a hint of relevance while not taking away from the gorgeous poster.
Finally, we have another visually ravishing poster piece featuring three quotes about modern art. The quotes are by Max Bill, Golda Meir and Tom Stoppard. The text is small and just right.
The word “Neue” is perfectly positioned, with a period placed for additional emphasis on black text and white background. Modern art takes abstraction to new extremes. The unique fusion of red and black, blue and pink, and a human-like figure burned into the red color, is beyond cool. This is an exhibition of color contrasting mastery.
Mane Tatoulian again proves that the best print designs use color contrasting and mind-blowing imagery -- either through illustration, photography, or a combination of the two -- to create the best print designs that exist.
This masterful display of artistic skill results in peaking human curiosity to want to grab the poster and read it. More so, imagine the impact the best print designs have when you do not just want to read it, but rather, keep it, or pin it up in your room or office.
The best print designs are not just images on paper. They are art.
Cool Posters is an amazing print design in the Advertising and Arts & Recreation industries.
