Engel & Volkers (slide 1)

Engel & Volkers brands itself as the leader in residential and commercial real estate lease and sales, including yacht and private jet sales. Their footprint is international and the company was founded by Christian Volkers in 1977.

The company is still owned by Volkers, and is represented in 32 countries through 8,000 advisers and employees.

The homepage is very clean. The user is greeted bt a large call to action module that says "New York City Expertise International Reputation" in a bold white font.

The font matches a picture background of a New York City loft. When the user enters a website, they should know your mission and purpose in an instant. Engel & Volkers does a great job at peaking interest and cutting out the fluff.

The user can then choose from a variety of search options to view and sort properties by price, beds, type, and location.

Engel & Volkers (slide 2)

A four-picture grid slider shows various property listings and each has a stand out picture. The information is in white font to not take away from the beautiful photography. The text indicates the listing price, the address, and number of bedrooms and baths.

A red underline sits below each photo. This underline represents Engel & Volkers branding and matches the rest of the website.

It provides emphasis and retains a minimal and professional feel.

The subtle branding hints through symbols and flair complete the website experience and distinguish the brand.

Engel & Volkers (slide 3)

The next call to action slider uses Engels and Volkers' red color branding on the slider arrows. Users can view the profile and engage with one of their 8,000 experts.

The picture is professional and in this case highlights Noel Berk.

Noel's short biography is included. By including this slider, Engel & Volkers shows that they know their customer base and that trust is key.

Their high-income client base wants to be confident and trust in their potential advisor.

Next, we have a NYC slider with a high-quality photograph of pedestrians standing beside a NYC brick building.

The slider gives users an interactive and easy way to sort through properties in NYC neighborhoods.

Users can click their desired neighborhood and then "Explore Neighborhood."

This level of interactivity is the key to providing users with an optimized and fun website design experience in 2017.

Engel & Volkers (slide 5)

The footer is very minimal. It contains crucial contact information, social media connectivity icons, and other informational categories.

We once again see the Engel & Volkers red branding on a map of the world.

Engels & Volkers website design demonstrate the 2017 website design trends of minimalism and micro-interactions.

Rather than simply presenting information, the website encourages users to click and explore. Combined with high-quality photographs and color branding, Engels & Volkers website gives their client base and potential clients a fun and simple experience in finding their next home.
