Peloton is the fitness app for cyclists who love spinning, but would prefer to do a class from the comfort of their own home. The Peloton app gives users the opportunity to experience the same benefit of a spin class on any stationary bike, anytime, anywhere.
The Peloton app offers tons of workout options, including on demand workouts and live workouts that are streamed directly to the app. Users can add workouts to their schedule so they can plan ahead and stay committed. There’s a huge variety of ride types for all different levels of fitness and experience, so users can feel confident they’ll never get bored. Â
On launching the app, users are taken to the home screen with featured workouts. Upcoming live workouts are featured up top, with a countdown clock to the next live workout. A bright call-to-action encourages users to join the class. Below the live class feature are more avenues to workouts, including featured categories, most popular rides of the week, fan favorites, and trending rides under 30 minutes. Users can also browse through over 7,000 on demand rides, with the option to filter by length, class type, music genre, or instructor. There’s also the option to save workouts as favorites so they’re easily accessible in the future.
Navigation of the app is handled through a tabbed menu that runs along the bottom of the screen, while a card-based presentation of workouts helps users browse through their options. Class videos are all shot on a similar dark purple background, which helps gives poster images a clear visual consistency. Lightweight typography and a muted white palette with a red accent color gives the app a modern, contemporary vibe. A huge breadth of content makes the app appealing for cyclists, while the streamline navigation makes the app user-friendly and fun.Â
