Magma Sportwear’s logo design was created by Mishka Design. The agency wanted to present the Egyptian startup with an emblem that combines the company’s initial and the target audience’s desired attributes from a sportswear brand: agility and strength.
Magma is a hot, semi-liquid rock under the Earth's surface, so the fireball association is not accidental. It reinforces the brand name through a simple but powerful visual device (hinting at a magmatic meteorite). The new logo merges a fireball illustration and the letter “M” to create a distinctive new symbol that highlights the strength and resilience behind the brand.
This initial-led design is accompanied by the brand name typeface positioned to its right or centered below it. The bold typeface uses a simple font style to focus on readability, leaving the intriguing mark space to shine.
