Ice cream is an escape that thrusts us into the mist of sweet tooth nirvana. From chocolate to vanilla to Neapolitan to banana, there is an ice cream for us and we want more than one scoop.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is splendid, indeed. The company is devoted to making better ice creams. Making better ice cream is literally what gets them out of bed in the morning. How glorious is that?
The ice cream has a smooth texture and butter cream body with a bright flavor and clean finish unique to Jeni’s brand. There are no stabilizers nor emulsifiers nor synthetic flavorings or dyes. When choosing this ice cream from a freezer, you may as well be picking it from a tree in a lush green landscape with chirping birds and free roaming chickens. This is all-natural heaven.
Jenis Splendid Ice Cream was in dire need of a logo redesign and package design to celebrate a two decade ice cream extravaganza. Jessica Hische was chosen for this lofty goal.
Jessica created a vibrant and eye-brightening transformation that bestows the artistic creativity as if delivered down from the gods of ice cream themselves that guard the ice cream realm of enlightenment induced deliciousness.
We are talking bold colors here. Big oranges and purples and light blues. The jeni’s cursive unique touch lettering is front and center and bursts through freezer doors, as if an ice cream monster hijacked your visual inputs to take you to the land of salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks.
The pint tells the story of what is inside as if the ice cream gods plucked you from the store freezer section and sat you on their lap with a great big book of jeni’s history and smooth buttery texture.
This book would be filled with stories of how each of jeni’s flavors are inspired by art, history, and culture. It would cast you through the hundreds of people burning midnight chocolate oil to bring new frankenstein flavors to life in the lands of Super Moon or Brambleberry Crisp. What a great name.
Brambleberry. Even saying it sounds delicious. I can imagine hovering over the shoulders of the angelic ice cream-making elves at jeni’s and exclaiming my preference: “More Bramble! More Berry! Make haste!”
The picture of jeni’s ice cream within a freezer stacked to the heavens emits pure beauty with such ferocity it could turn an orc to a fawn. A goblin to a glorious and rare unicorn (some say the mythical beasts still exist).
Jessica created an iconic and individual logo redesign and packaging design that is worthy of the loving care and hundreds of hours placed in crafting each flavor of jeni’s. From the cursive font to the cool flavor outlining, this is the stuff that jeni’s is proud of.
Ah, yes, the glorious and rare Brambleberry Crisp. Sitting by its lonesome, observed in its natural habitat. The Brambleberry Crisp is exploding over the sides because of a spoon that dived into a careful concoction of ice cream ingredients that combine to deliver our taste buds a bombarding super punch to the sacred land of Shambala.
Best packaging design by far.
Jeni's Ice Cream is a clean package design in the E-commerce & Retail and Food & Beverage industries.
