Lighthouse Brewing Company is a quality first, progressive-thinking Craft Brewery making great beers for great people since 1998. 

With the attempt to reclaim Lighthouse Brewing Company’s position in Victoria’s competitive craft beer market with a strong digital presence and cool-kid persona, the web designer created a custom scrolling site to modernize Lighthouse’s brand identity and welcome them to the digital age.

The website begins with an animated ocean (including a giant squid, a boss ship and a namesake lighthouse), which scrolls deeper into the sea and more in-depth about the company and its product line. The ocean theme has to be inspired by the brand name, all elements are well-crafted to enrich the visual presentation. The vintage appeal adds more flavors to the visuals; the animation brings the traditional business into the dynamic digital era. In terms of the design, it’s individual, flavorful and well-branded. Furthermore, the navigation stays top of screen and mind at all times, which enhances the user’s experience.
