Agoda just turned 20 and turned up the volume on travel demand with record-breaking results.

Its Birthday Sale, held from May 7 to 21, drove a 70% surge in bookings on its first day alone, the company reported.

The campaign maintained its strong momentum throughout the two weeks, reflecting strong interest in time-sensitive offers and competitive travel deals.

The digital travel platform offered customers discounts of up to 70% on hotels, flights, and experiences.

Andrew Smith, Senior Vice President of Supply at Agoda, emphasized the campaign’s immediate impact and the strength of its execution:

The sale reached a worldwide audience, drawing over 470 million impressions through paid media, social platforms, and creator-led promotions.
