AMV BBDO and VOXI Mobile have launched a new campaign that addresses a common problem for Zoomers who can't take their eyes off their phones while eating.
In its new marketing stunt, the mobile network transformed 50,000 chicken boxes into mobile phone stands to create the "Voxi Boxi," its solution to grease-stained phones.
Upon opening the cardboard box, users will find a curved edge where they can place their mobile phones, so they can "devour their feed while they devour their feed."

"Unlimited social media with fried chicken — just the way you like it," the Morley's employee says, as the spot ends.
It comes as part of a wider summer campaign picking up from last year's spot, with the two brain besties Frank and Syd participating in a slew of spots and social media posts.
Behind the Box with a Dual Purpose
The latest innovation was inspired by the popularity of chicken shops and the insight that a lot of young people who frequent them use social media while eating.
Vodafone UK and VOXI Brand Director Maria Koutsoudakis explains that the brand always strives to ensure it is part of cultural conversations.
"How better to do that than with a super fun campaign that solves an everyday problem for customers," she added.

Michael Hughes and Dalatando Almeida, AMV BBDO's creative directors, added that VOXI's hunger for fame is matched by Gen Z's appetite for fried chicken.
Additionally, the two expressed joy in supporting its ongoing efforts to disrupt a "category in which disruption is long overdue."
When it comes to the box's design, Alicia Cliffe and Laurens Grainger, the creatives behind the campaign, share their thought process on its creation.
“Knowing those using the box would be hungry, and maybe had something to drink, we know we needed to keep the design simple and familiar," they explained in an email to DesignRush.
"So, we combined the iconic style of chicken shop boxes and the functionality of how-to manuals to get to something that works on both fronts. Hopefully, people have some fun with it."
"Voxi Boxi" is the latest work AMV BBDO has made for the service provider.
Previously, the company launched a spot with the agency where two brains revel in the unlimited social media access from VOXI as they discuss making dance content.
The Voxi Boxi is available in 51 chicken shops across the U.S., including Morley’s, Chicken Cottage, and Chicken Valley.
