Apple has just unveiled its latest campaign showcasing "the most powerful" iPhone chip ever: the A18 Pro Chip.
Helmed by TBWA\Media Arts Lab, produced by SMUGGLER, and directed by Academy and Emmy award winner Tom Hooper, the cinematic spot takes a sci-fi approach to presenting the new iPhone 16 Pro's capabilities.
It's the latest dynamic and innovative commercial helmed by the dedicated Apple agency, which was behind some of the brand's more recent successful hits, including an ad for Apple Intelligence on the iPhone 16 Pro starring "The Last of Us" actress Bella Ramsey.
Billed as a bespoke Apple agency in 2006, TBWA\Media Arts Lab also developed the brand's iconic "1984" spot for the first Macintosh computer.
By working with an exclusive creative agency, brands can achieve a more consistent and unified vision between campaigns.
Back in September, Apple also teamed up with TBWA\Media Arts Lab to shoot a music video for Grammy-winning artist The Weeknd.
The Launch of an All-Powerful iPhone
Titled "All Systems Pro," the 30-second spot opens in a state-of-the-art mission control room, where scientists and researchers check on the iPhone's systems before the metaphorical rocket launches.
Leading the group, a woman orders her team to activate the smartphone's multitude of advanced features, including:
- A supercharged neural engine
- A six-core CPU
- 4K cameras
She also highlights the phone's next-level gaming and capability to have a large number of browser tabs open.

Finally, the phone is ready for launch. At the push of a button, it emerges from the ground, lifting off into space.
The team cheers as the phone disconnects from its charger as a spaceship would detach from its parts, ending with a shot of the iPhone 16 Pro hovering over the Earth.
With "All Systems Pro," Apple cleverly positions the iPhone 16 Pro as a larger-than-life feat of human engineering.
Ads such as this one are achieved through a solid understanding of brand storytelling, which is key to creating commercials that think outside the box.
