Apple just launched a new spot promoting its newest mixed reality headset Apple Vision Pro ahead of its February 2 release.
The one-minute commercial titled "Hello Apple Vision Pro" starts with a man in the kitchen using the headset as he navigates through visionOS — the device's operating system.
In a separate scene, another user grabs a bowl of popcorn and sits on his couch as he watches Ridley Scott's "Napoleon"on his device. To enhance his viewing experience, he enlarges the screen using Vision Pro's Environment feature, easily enlarging the screen with just two fingers.
Meanwhile, a woman takes a FaceTime video call using the Vision Pro as she packs clothes, emphasizing its practical and accessible uses.
A montage of different Vision Pro users enjoying their device then ensues: a man viewing a skyline that becomes larger the closer he gets, a dad creating models on his Vision Pro as his daughter plays football with him, and a woman altering her environment as she watches sci-fi film "Everything Everywhere All At Once" mid-flight.
The spot closes with the dad offering his daughter toast, revealing his eyes through the headset using Vision Pro's Eyesight feature.
The Hello Apple Vision Pro ad is the latest among a series of commercials the tech giant released in anticipation of Vision Pro's official launch.
Last week, the company dropped a short video that shows viewers the intricacies in making a Vision Pro headset. It also launched a 38-second spot that builds hype for the launch by showing different characters in various media franchises putting on their head gear and "getting ready."
Dubbed by Apple as the "first spatial computer," the Vision Pro is set to drop this Friday with a retail price starting at $3,499.
