British supermarket chain Asda, together with creative agency Havas London, is celebrating Easter with a joyous new spot.
Titled "Come for the eggs," the 30-second commercial opens with a couple being woken up from their deep sleep by a call from an Asda driver.
The two hurriedly head to the fields with their dog, where they begin to harvest eggs from colorful chicken coops labeled with popular confectionary brands: Maltesers, Twirl, Bounty and Crunchie, among others.
Instead of getting produce, the two farmers were delighted to find that their eggs were, in fact, Cadbury chocolate easter eggs.
"White chocolate!" the man shouts, before placing the egg inside the Cadbury Creme Egg container and loading their easter egg "harvests" onto an Asda truck.
"At Asda, we've got Easter sorted. Come for the eggs, and stay for the Hot Cross Buns as tasty as M&S," the narrator says as the spot closes with the company's logo and slogan.
Fun With Chocolate Easter Eggs
The supermarket chain's most recent advert comes as part of its wider campaign efforts to push its offerings in light of families' Easter celebrations.
"Easter isn’t Easter without a chocolate egg (or four) and this year, we’re giving the nation a fun take on where our Easter eggs 'really' come from," Pippa Prain, Asda's marketing director, shared in a statement.
"But that’s not all we have to offer our customers this Easter — so this campaign is here to show that ASDA has got all your Easter needs sorted."

Meanwhile, Havas London Chief Creative Officer Vicki Maguire explains the idea behind the use of chocolate eggs in the brand's Easter campaign.
"Easter is all about spending time with your loved ones and enjoying some top-quality food and drink. But c'mon, we all know what everyone wants — chocolate eggs, and lots of them."
"Our latest ASDA campaign captures this perfectly. Showing that this Easter, ASDA is offering many things, but it starts with the eggs.," she added.
