Luxury automobile giant BMW has tapped American comedian and actor Ken Jeong to star in its latest spot for CES 2025.
Dubbed "The Invitation," the 60-second spot invites attendees to the BMW booth for a press conference hosted by comedian Tim Meadows.
The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the brand's first-ever BMW Panoramic iDrive display, a key feature in the upcoming "Neue Klasse" of vehicles launching later in the year.

The BMW CES 2025 press conference is scheduled for January 7 at 8:30 a.m. PST.
BMW’s strategic choice to feature Ken Jeong and Tim Meadows at its CES 2025 press conference goes beyond celebrity appeal — it’s a calculated move leveraging influencer marketing.
Digital Silk Founder and CEO Gabriel Shaoolian believes that celebrity partnerships humanize technology and make brands more relatable.
Such high-profile partnerships can drive significant engagement and attract a wider audience to the event.
Partnering with experts in digital marketing agencies can further enhance such strategies, ensuring campaigns resonate across diverse audiences.

"Okay. Here I am. Back to where it all started."
'The Invitation' begins with Jeong arriving at the Nevada desert in his BMW, engaged in a phone conversation with a mysterious person.
Upon exiting the car, Jeong was seemingly told to get into the trunk, which he refused.
However, it quickly turns out that he misunderstood the instruction, as the caller merely asked him to open it.

After doing so, he is greeted by a mysterious metal briefcase that has nothing but a slip of paper inside.
"You're invited to a party. See you in Las Vegas," the card writes.
Jeong immediately turned the invitation down citing that "Times have changed," and that he's more than just an actor, "I'm a doctor, I have integrity!"
He quickly backpedaled after finding out how much they'll pay him.
As it turns out, the other person on the line is actually Meadows, who tells him: "You don't even know where to go!"
The spot ends with Jeong hilariously cussing at the viewers, as he drives off in his BMW.
Previously, BMW made a romcom-style spot touting its cars as "The One."
