Tequila giant Cazadores is partnering with Latin-style coffee brand Café Bustelo for a new campaign celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and National Coffee Day.
Central to the initiative is the limited-edition Café O'Clock timepiece designed specifically for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts.
The custom clock boasts unique designs that show its users when it's cafecito time in the morning with Café Bustelo or fiesta time at night with Tequila Cazadores.
It also features playful illustrations of coffee beans, martini glasses, and agave plants, which bring brand recognition to both the coffee and tequila brands.
The timepiece is available to consumers through Tequila Cazadores' website for a limited time only with no minimum purchase required.
Cazadores Brand Director Jay Needham expounds on the creation of the campaign, which follows the successful launch of Cazadores Café, the brand's first tequila-based coffee liqueuer.
Seeing that its consumers gravitated towards the coffee and tequila pairing, Cazadores decided to partner with Café Bustelo "to celebrate both cafecito and cocktail culture with fan favorites like the Espresso Martini, one of the most popular cocktails in the country, and the trendy Carajillo."
Meanwhile, Café Bustelo Assistant Brand Manager Christina Minjares Allio shared excitement over the campaign, celebrating Latin culture and both brands' love for coffee.
By introducing a new product and teaming up with a renowned brand, Cazadores' brand marketing strategy hopes to boost awareness of its tequila, positioning it as the perfect ingredient for a coffee-flavored cocktail.
A National Coffee Day Pop-Up
Apart from the limited-edition time piece, the two brands are coming together to bring a special pop-up to the streets of New York City in celebration of National Coffee Day.
On September 29, Cazadores and Café Bustelo are using experiential marketing to give New Yorkers a taste of its specialty cocktails.
To RSVP, coffee and tequila fans can visit Eventbrite and get a chance to enjoy the sample beverage, as well as a chance to win the Café O'Clock novelty item.
Previously, tequila brand Lobos 1707 also launched its own campaign starring NBA star LeBron James and actress Victoria Justice.
