First-rate cybersecurity platform provider Check Point Software announced earlier this week that it will be acquiring fellow Israeli external risk management solution pioneer Cyberint Technologies.
Recognized across the globe, Check Point, an American-Israeli multinational company, has since grown to become one of the world's most dominant cybersecurity providers.
Established in 1993, the company specializes in risk assessment, training programs, incident response, professional services, and managed security.

Cyberint, on the other hand, was founded in 2010 and has over 170 employees worldwide.
Specializing in cyberattack service management, diverse risk protection, and threat intelligence, it serves a global clientele that includes several Fortune 500 companies.
Currently one of the fastest-growing ERM companies on the market, it was recognized by Frost & Sullivan as ERM "Company of the Year" in 2023.
In a digital world where cyberattacks have become commonplace, finding effective cybersecurity tools and software can be daunting.
It's best to find established cybersecurity providers that have a long list of long-term clients like Check Point and Cyberint to ensure your individual devices and business network are truly protected.
What Cyberint Is Bringing to the Table
The acquisition will provide a significant upgrade to Check Point's Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities while strengthening its managed threat intelligence offerings.
This will also see the integration of Cyberint’s advanced technologies into the Check Point Infinity Platform, which encompasses collaborative threat prevention and managed services.
The Check Point Software stands to benefit from many of Cyberint's key capabilities, including:
- Comprehensive ERM solutions that detect and take down impersonators, stolen credentials, and leaked data
- Rapid response measures that deliver intelligence within 20 minutes after setup
- AI-powered and enhanced managed services, including risk detection, mitigation, and contextualized alerts
These new measures will strongly benefit organizations that utilize Check Point software to handle security issues.
Cyberint CEO Yochai Corem cited in a press release that the prevalence of leaked credentials and fake websites, with 90% of companies being faced with these threats, "highlights the urgent need for real-time intelligence and proactive defense strategies."
By entrusting business information to tried and tested software companies, businesses can rest easy knowing that their data is in capable hands.
Earlier this month, cybersecurity expert and NordLayer Web Engineering Head Martynas Paškauskas spoke about setting cybersecurity standards in an interview with DesignRush.
