Amid all the melodramatic holiday spots from the big brands, PepsiCo's Cheetos just launched a new marketing stunt that will catch people by surprise.
The snack giant is auctioning off a single Cheetos Puff duct-taped to a wall to give Cheetos fans from all over the world the chance to own a piece of art.
Dubbed "Mischief by Chester," Cheetos has put the listing up on eBay, and it currently has 51 bidders and a price of $1,100.

The lucky winner of the bid won't only get to take home the absurd yet intriguing art piece — they'll also be fully paid back in Cheetos.
The snack company will be awarding the winner with a supply of Cheetos worth the amount of their bid, making the stunt an exciting way for the brand to engage with its fans.
Bidding for "Mischief by Chester" officially ends this Friday.
Attention-grabbing social media marketing stunts like this enable brands to stand out from the competition, allowing them to increase visibility and remain relevant to consumers.
Art for Art's Sake?
The Frito-Lay brand's latest stunt is in part a parody of the banana taped to a wall that was sold earlier in November.
Though simple, the "art piece" sold for over $6 million and made noise in many art and online communities.
Harping on the uproar, the company saw an opportunity to do the same, all while giving back to the fans by paying them in Cheetos.
Known for its unorthodox brand marketing strategies, Cheetos has once again caught the attention of both snack and art fans with this latest marketing stunt.
Earlier this year, Cheetos launched a wacky campaign titled the "Other Hand" that pokes fun at Cheetos fans attempting to do their daily activities with their non-dominant hand.
