Snack brand Pringles just launched its Super Bowl spot, and it shows Hollywood actor Chris Pratt caught in an unexpected viral moment.
In the 30-second commercial titled "Mr.P," the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star walks into a grocery store sporting a full, upward-sweeping mustache.
"You look like the Pringles guy," the cashier tells him as she takes a photo of him on her phone.
The woman then blasts her photo of the actor on social media, causing an uproar among netizens, with many "memeing" the star and "the Pringles guy."
"So Mr.P was for Pratt all along," one writes.
The 44-year old actor then tests the facial recognition feature of his phone, which shockingly unlocks upon showing Mr.P's face on a Pringles can.
Harping on the digital frenzy his mustache caused, his booking manager reaches out to him for the "role of a lifetime" as Mr.P.
To end the Super Bowl ad, Pratt and the cashier are shown staring at the billboard of his new film. "Do I get a cut?" she asks of him.
In January, the potato chip maker teased Pratt's appearance in an Instagram post, challenging viewers to guess the star of its Super Bowl ad.
"The big game’s almost here, so we’re upping our ‘stache game. Who do you think it belongs to?" it captioned.
Last week, Pringles finally debunked speculations from fans that its celebrity guest would be Kansas City Chief's Travis Kelce, and revealed Pratt to be the brand's next endorser.
The full-length ad is set to air during the Big Game on February 11.
