Arcade fans and speed junkies, get ready, because Dave & Buster’s just dropped the hottest ride of the season.

Starting June 2, the entertainment chain is teaming up with Mattel to bring the Hot Wheels universe to life in a nationwide summer campaign that puts racing front and center.

At the heart of the partnership is the "Hot Wheels Victory Lap."

It's an all-new arcade game that lets players race and stunt their way through fast-paced tracks using the brand’s most iconic toy cars.

The game is exclusive to Dave & Buster’s and aims to attract both longtime Hot Wheels fans and younger players looking for high-energy fun.

It’s the latest example of how the company is trying to build unique, in-store customer experiences for guests that can’t be replicated at home.

“At Dave & Buster’s, we’re always striving to deliver next-level experiences you can’t get anywhere else," Dave & Buster Senior VP Simon Murray explained. 

"Partnering with Hot Wheels allowed us to bring that to life in a big way — offering exclusive access to a one-of-a-kind arcade game and over-the-top food and drinks that turn a visit into a full-throttle summer adventure.”

The collab shows how exclusive, on-site attractions can turn brand nostalgia into high-impact foot traffic and multi-generational appeal.

A Buster's Summer

Aside from the game, Dave & Buster’s is introducing a special Hot Wheels-themed food and drink lineup.

The limited-time menu includes:

  • Buffalo-style Turbocharged Chicken Sliders
  • Turbo Bites (donut holes with dipping sauces)
  • Stoplight Punch Flight, featuring red, yellow, and green rum-based drinks.

For younger guests, there are "Hot Wheels Refreshers," which are fizzy, fruity mocktails designed for all ages.

At select flagship stores, some of these snacks will even be served in custom Hot Wheels trays, extending the theme from the arcade to the dining area.

Overall, the campaign is built for broad appeal, targeting families, friend groups, and solo players alike.

With school out and summer in full swing, Dave & Buster’s is positioning itself as a go-to destination for interactive fun and themed entertainment.
