Frank's RedHot is celebrating the football season by giving one lucky fan a $20,000 "Dean of Tailgating" scholarship.
Highlighting the real MVPs of the season, the McCormick-owned hot sauce brand is looking for a tailgater to bring creativity, enthusiasm, and flavor to game day.
In a press release, Valda Coryat, North America VP of Marketing at McCormick & Company, Inc., talks about the camaraderie and traditions that bring fans together during football season:
The campaign also highlights the new line of Frank's RedHot Dip'n and Squeeze sauces, which were introduced earlier in March with a wide variety of flavors.
A great example of promotional marketing, the campaign utilizes the tried and tested tactic of offering sponsorships or cash prizes to draw consumer attention and build brand loyalty.
A Hot Promotion
Starring the "Dean of Tailgating," the latest in a series of short videos shared on Frank's social media details the process for fans to follow.
For a chance to win, hot-sauce fans need to capture a video of themselves using a bottle of Frank's RedHot, or the new Dip'n and Squeeze sauces.
Alternatively, participants can also choose to demonstrate why a dish would be better with Frank's RedHot.

Afterwards, fans will need to share their photo or video on FranksTailgateScholarship.com to finish the process.

Frank's RedHot previously appeared in a new campaign for Firehouse Subs last week that announced the return of the restaurant's beloved hot sauce bar.
