In a press release, Roberto Stanichi, EVP of Hot Wheels and head of vehicles & building sets at Mattel, stated how the company looks forward to the world’s reaction to the new releases:
“It was a passion project for the Hot Wheels team to deliver authentic visions of these iconic Ferrari models for the next generation of car lovers to enjoy while, at the same time, creating something extra-special for collectors to appreciate.”

A Decade-Long Wait for an Iconic Partnership
Hot Wheels' partnership with Ferrari has a long history, having previously collaborated on 26 models that are now highly sought after by collectors.
Ferrari’s legacy in motorsport, with over 5,000 race wins, 16 Constructors' Championships, and 15 Drivers' Championships in Formula 1, adds to the prestige of the collaboration.
This collection is poised to introduce a new generation of fans to Ferrari's excellence and craftsmanship, all while honoring collectors' passion for rare and exclusive models.
The collaboration will continue throughout 2025 and beyond, with additional product drops and announcements to follow.
Renewing an iconic brand partnership can revitalize consumer interest and enhance brand credibility, as it leverages the established loyalty of both brands' audiences.
This strategic move not only fosters innovation through shared resources but also generates excitement that can drive engagement and sales, reinforcing the partnership's relevance in a competitive market.
Meanwhile, Ferrari previously partnered with PUMA to release the Desert Sun Collection, a collaboration that merged both fashion and motorsport.
