ServiceNow, in partnership with global advertising agency BBDO New York, has launched a new AI-driven campaign featuring "Luther" star Idris Elba, showcasing how its platform connects every corner of a business to enhance productivity and collaboration.
“Connecting Corners” is an extension of ServiceNow's May 2024 initiative and highlights how AI agents are transforming businesses by proactively resolving issues across various sectors.
Jim Lesser, ServiceNow's chief brand officer, explained the company's campaign goals in a statement:
This campaign reflects a growing trend of AI becoming an integral part of business operations.
Rather than merely offering niche solutions, ServiceNow’s platform delivers a unified AI experience that optimizes the entire business.
The collaboration with Elba also underlines the importance of leadership in tech adoption, as he’s not just a spokesperson but a longtime partner actively integrating ServiceNow products into his own ventures.

Additionally, Elba has partnered with ServiceNow on a project close to his heart — helping bring sustainable energy and clean water to Sherbro Island in Sierra Leone.
"Connecting Corners" is running across multiple channels, including broadcast, digital, and social media, featuring Elba's unique perspective on AI's role in reshaping business.
ServiceNow's campaign continues to show how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries by streamlining operations and boosting productivity.
Making Businesses Smarter with AI
The “Connecting Corners” spot opens with Elba introducing ServiceNow, explaining how the platform “connects every corner of your business, putting AI to work for people.”
His assistant, Nick, remains skeptical, asking, “Every corner?”
Elba responds by highlighting how AI helps HR focus on people instead of processes, while IT can rely on AI agents to handle routine tasks, freeing up time for bigger priorities.
As they walk through the office, a crowd gathers, and Elba continues to illustrate the platform’s benefits.
He emphasizes once more, “ServiceNow is the only platform that connects every corner of your business, putting AI to work for people.”
Nick finally grasps the idea of working better together, and Elba concludes that his work here is done.

In “AI Agents,” which has yet to be released on social media, Elba returns with his assistant Nick to highlight the role of ServiceNow’s AI agents in business.
Nick, curious, asks, “Like secret agents?”
“No,” Elba replies, explaining that these agents are more like minions that businesses can control, detailing how they handle tasks such as fixing network issues and resolving customer problems.
Elba continues, emphasizing that these agents collaborate at a high level, ensuring everything runs more smoothly.
Nick, intrigued, asks if he could have agents of his own. Elba replies with a mischievous “Maybe,” much to Nick’s delight.
While AI is being continuously leveraged as a business solution, the technology is also being developed to make people's daily lives easier.
For instance, Samsung recently partnered with Instacart to enhance its Bespoke smart fridges with AI, enabling them to give recommendations on low-stock grocery items to buy.
