From prototyping to full development, leading custom software development agency Designli had its hands full building impactful digital products for numerous businesses in 2024.
The agency is one of the top custom software development companies in the U.S. and has been backed by hundreds of five-star reviews with a proprietary tool that speeds development by 70%.
It highlighted three products in the healthcare and wellbeing sectors it contributed to this year:
- 1MAC Anesthesia: A dynamic anesthesia job marketplace,
- AskIris: A supply room directory, and
- Eume: A mobile app that provides access to supportive conversations.

Using Agile Scrum methodology, Designli accelerates growth and revenue alongside its dedicated software development teams.
With only a two-week discovery sprint, the agency helps businesses solidify their development plan, jumpstart design, and prepare them for development.
1. 1MAC Anesthesia
1MAC Anesthesia provides open positions in the anesthesia job market, the average salary information, and helps negotiate contracts. Designli stepped in when the app was ready to scale, basing rapid iteration on evolving user needs.
The agency assigned a mobile developer (Flutter), a front-end web developer (React), and a backend developer (Ruby). The assigned team comprised a product owner, a graphic designer, and a quality assurance analyst to design new functionality and test deployments.
2. AskIris
AskIris is a healthcare application that helps nurses and other medical staff find inventory when the patient needs it. It organizes hospital supply closets by aisle, shelf, and bin number.
AskIris was built with AngularJS, NodeJS, and Flutter as a cross-platform application.
Designli used its proprietary UX design and road-mapping session for this project to create a minimum viable product (MVP), with simple CSV workflows to integrate with different Inventory Management Systems (IMS) as needed.
This allowed the team to create an admin portal for supply room managers and scanning for QR codes and barcodes.
In addition, the AskIris app can function on Zebra devices, proving its value for the go-to-market strategy.
3. Eume
Eume is the brainchild of a professional psychologist who found that most people seek connection and someone to listen to them genuinely. To make this dream come true, Designli took on the challenge of creating a complete product design strategy, graphic design, prototyping for early market feedback, and end-to-end development and launch support.
This is where Desingli’s proprietary road-mapping solution steps in: the SolutionLab. Here, user personas, monetization strategies, and the main features of the MVP are established.
The agency created a complete navigable simulation of each Eume feature before the start of its two-week design sprint to ensure alignment with the client.
According to Shields, a clear product strategy sets important alignment between the team and the client before development begins.
Because Designli specializes in assigning full-time, dedicated team members to their projects, Eume received a full-time mobile developer and backend developer for six months.
These teammates were supported by various fractional roles, allowing the app to drop to fractional support as market traction was gained after launch.
Designli creates solutions that tackle complex problems and meet specific user needs through a focused design, development, and collaboration approach.
These factors are crucial to delivering products that solve immediate challenges, adapt, and grow, ensuring long-term value for users and businesses.
