Global pop star Joe Jonas is the latest celebrity to team up with not-for-profit PlanetPlay as part of its Make Green Tuesday Movement (MGTM) initiative.
Starting Tuesday, players get to use exclusive characters, skins, badges, and other downloadable content (DLC) starring Joe in popular games, like Subway Surfers, Peridot, and Runescape.
The proceeds from the downloads go to sustainability projects under PlanetPlay’s eco-donate platform, which includes the Hongera Project in Kenya and the WAI Wanaka Water Conservation Project in New Zealand.
Players can also find Joe in Avakin Life, Bowling Club, Car Driving School, Darts Club, Fishing Clash, Hunt Royale, Love & Pies, Text Express, The Great Ocean, Woodoku, and more.

MGTM partners with influencers, celebrities, and video game companies to inspire, educate, and mobilize players to support the planet and its rich diversity.
One of its previous collaborations included Hollywood icon David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff as the July Star of the Month.
Google is also a supporter, dedicating a page on the Google app store that features MGTM missions, videos, and participating games.
Maximizing the reach of its influencer marketing, PlanetPlay backs this up with a massive social media campaign, inviting gamers to Make Green Moves — not only on Tuesdays, but also every day.
Playing for the Planet
Centering on the concept of “Passive Activism,” MGTM aims to transform people’s passion for video games into positive action for the planet by integrating entertainment and fully certified environmental movements.
This way, players can simply play their favorite games and make in-game purchases while supporting sustainable causes — from reforestation to renewable energy to ocean cleanups.
Already, MGTM has been making waves worldwide with partner games having been played over 4 billion times. It has also achieved 400 million monthly active users and 36 million daily players.
