Krispy Kreme is commemorating World Kindness Day, which is celebrated annually on November 13, by giving away free doughnuts.
The global doughnut chain is giving the first 500 people who visit each participating branch today a free dozen of its Original Glazed Doughnuts to inspire people to spread kindness.
While Krispy Kreme operates in more than 40 countries, the free Original Glazed dozen will only be available at participating shops and drive-thrus in the U.S.
No purchase is necessary to avail of the free doughnuts.

Customer engagement strategies like giveaways on special occasions increase foot traffic and foster brand loyalty, aligning Krispy Kreme with positive social causes.
It reinforces the brand’s broader mission of creating deeper emotional connections with its customer base, which can drive long-term success.
Meanwhile, brand collaborations help businesses widen their audience reach. McDonald's and Krispy Kreme announced their nationwide partnership earlier this year.
Following a successful trial run in 160 McDonald's restaurants across Kentucky, doughnut lovers can now grab their favorite dessert, both individually and in boxes of six, at McDonald's locations.
