American electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors has unveiled its first-ever brand campaign, and it's kicking things off with a bang.
It is also the first campaign helmed by full-service creative agency Giant Spoon for the brand after being chosen as its lead creative and strategic partner in the U.S.
"Compromise Nothing" serves as the up-and-coming automobile company's response to the trade-offs that come with current electric vehicles, showcasing uncompromising greatness with references to historical figures like Muhammad Ali, Nina Simone, and Neil Armstrong.
While some may promise long-range options, they often lack in performance; and even if some EVs offer superior comfort, they fall short in design.
This is why Lucid took it upon itself to fight against these compromises with the launch of Lucid Air, leaving consumers without any desired characteristics to trade off — as the model has it all.

With range, efficiency, unrivaled design, and incredible performance, the brand is positioning itself as a car company that not only delivers on its promises but offers what no other car company could.
Haber continued, saying that the development of the creative platform allowed them to tell the story of the people who "made the impossible real."
The campaign will encompass TV, social, digital, and print, including several OOH efforts in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
In addition to the brand campaign, Lucid Motors continues to make headlines with Shaquille O'Neal’s custom one-off Lucid Air coupe.

Known for his massive frame, Shaq commissioned West Coast Customs to convert the vehicle into a sleek, two-door coupe designed for easy entry and exit.
The vehicle, which features personalized "Diesel" branding and Superman-themed wheel center caps, adds a unique chapter to Lucid's growing presence in the automotive world.
"Compromises Nothing" is a great example of how businesses need the creative support of agencies to increase brand awareness and recognition.
Introducing 'The Best Damn Car'
Alongside the launch of the campaign, Lucid Motors released a one-minute hero spot made to narrate the brand's story for the first time.
In the style of an aspirational monologue, the advert jumps between shots of Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity driving across different terrains, weather, and times of the day.
"Tell me this: Did you come this far just to come this far? Are you still first in, and last out? Is good enough ever enough? Or is greatness always waiting beyond a shadow of a doubt," the narrator asks.

To emphasize its ambitious and aspirational spirit, the spot features clips of the greats across different fields throughout history, including Ali, Simone, and Armstrong.
All this is to show Lucid's commitment to setting the standard and pioneering a new age of electric vehicles.
"Is defiance in your DNA? Or, are you just built that way? The question is not 'Will you make the cut,' it's 'Will you raise the bar?' Why settle for the best EV, when you can build the best damn car," the narrator says, as the spot ends.
EV models have been making waves in recent years, especially with sustainability and eco-friendliness initiatives running high.
Previously, Volkswagen and Johannes Leonardo launched the new "Life Half-Full" spot to promote the arrival of the ID. Buzz EV minivan's arrival into the U.S.
