Chanel has found its latest star and newest ambassador in Margot Robbie, launching a huge campaign featuring the "Barbie" actress alongside "Saltburn" actor Jacob Elordi.
Led by Oscar winner Luca Guadagnino, director of "Challengers" and "Call Me By Your Name," a short film titled "See You at 5" tells the story of two lovers' missed connections and their long journey toward a failed rendezvous.
Chanel initially revealed Robbie as the new Chanel No.5 ambassador in September, following in the footsteps of iconic figures such as Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman.

The star-studded campaign is inspired by Coco Chanel's adventurous spirit, with the Australian actress embodying Chanel No.5's "essence of femininity."
The fashion house also revealed behind-the-scenes footage on the brand's Instagram page, featuring Guadagnino and Robbie collaborating during the shoot.

Robbie's star has only grown over the last decade, thanks to her powerful performances and iconic roles in films like "The Suicide Squad," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
Her status as the newest ambassador for Chanel's iconic fragrance underscores the importance of choosing the correct representative for a brand.
Tapping Hollywood celebrities is a great example of influencer marketing; brands not only widen and diversify their audience reach by associating with a popular personality but also opens up avenues for more engagement.
Missed Connections
Set to Daft Punk's "Veridis Quo," the spot opens with a shot of Robbie on her phone.
She sits by a circular bay window texting Elordi, who receives the message at his house by the ocean.
Robbie strolls through her home to get dressed, while Elordi puts on a motorcycle helmet as he rushes to his motorcycle.
As he rides his bike through winding roads, Robbie dabs on some Chanel No.5.
Getting dressed in an elegant red Chanel dress, she gets into a sleek sports car and drives off to meet Elordi as he rides in the opposite direction towards her house.

Finally arriving at Elordi's home, she's sad to find out that he's not there. Mirroring her, Elordi also sees that she's not home.
Laughing to herself, Robbie gazes into the deep blue water and dives in.
In a stunning shot that mutes the background music, sunlight shines through the surface of the water, lighting up her face. Finally, she surfaces, taking a breath of air with a smile.
The ad ends with a shot of Chanel's iconic perfume.
Meanwhile, back in June, Chanel launched a massive ad on the Las Vegas Sphere for its newest fragrance, No.5 L’EAU.
