Major League Soccer (MLS) is calling out to fans to celebrate its 29th season with a new commercial.
The spot, titled "Our Soccer Is Calling," is an ode to the league's unrivaled energy, showcasing roaring crowds, filled up stadiums and legendary plays made by some of the sport's biggest names — including Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.
To build even more hype, the ad aptly utilizes Gotopo and Don Elektron’s high-energy Latin electronic track “Sacudete” for the short promo.
Made and developed alongside creative agency Cornerstone, the 30-second commercial calls on soccer fanatics — both old and new — to be there when the league kicks off on February 21.

"This campaign is reflective of who we are and captures the pride and passion of our fans and teams," Camilo Durana, EVP of Apple partnership, properties & events at MLS, shared.
"'Our Soccer is Calling' aims to ignite our communities and invite new fans to join us as we kickoff an extraordinary season.”
Additionally, the professional soccer league also dropped a recap video of last year's MLS events.

The league's official advertisement builds upon MLS's established "Our Soccer" campaign, which originally debuted in 2018.
As part of this initiative, the league will showcase commercials in English, Spanish and French across various platforms such as Apple TV, FOX, TSN and RDS, alongside the league's digital and social media outlets.
MLS' new season begins Wednesday with a match between teams Inter Miami and Real Salt Lake.
