Nikon Counts Down to Mystery Product

A new Nikon Z series camera may be incoming.

Nikon just teased an online launch event potentially unveiling a new product.  

On its new teaser website, the camera company left out specific details but included a countdown leading up to the event. Additionally, the website includes a sign-up that will notify users once the event has been launched. 

The event is scheduled for May 10, 2023, at 8:00 AM EST.  

Based on Nikon’s previous product announcements, some speculate that it will be launching a new mirrorless camera as part of its flagship Z series. In 2021, the camera company also released a series of short video clips for a marketing campaign that promoted its Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera.  

Before the Z9 launched, Nikon put out its teaser campaign months after announcing the camera was in development, revealing its many features such as a stacked full-frame sensor, 8k video quality, and an upgraded processor. Meanwhile, no information has been unveiled leading up to its most recent teasers.
