Industry Insights and Design Philosophy
Simón is known for his thought leadership in design. In a recent discussion with us, he talked about the impact of AI on the industry, noting that while it is a powerful tool, its current applications in graphic design still leave much to be desired.
As designers respond to the limitations of AI, he anticipates that the rest of 2024 will see a surge in 3D modeling, bright-color palettes, hand-painted shapes, and more expressive visual communication.

Simón also emphasizes the importance of objectivity in design, despite its inherently subjective nature.
He believes that understanding a client’s culture, audience, and objectives is crucial to creating effective and relatable designs.
He also argues that exceptional design is not just understood but felt, as it’s something that resonates emotionally with the audience.
