New Asian food concept Teriyaki Madness (TMAD) has unveiled its first-ever national ad campaign, shaking up the restaurant space with its unique take on the cuisine.
Made together with indepentend agency Party Land, the campaign is marked by a 30-second TV commercial that takes a bat at ads for products that claim to solve all of life's problems.
"Teriyaki Fixes Everything" is exactly what its title suggests — a bold claim that sticks to the minds of the restaurant chain's audiences.
It's a spot synonymous to Party Land's works, defined by sarcastic, absurdist, and off-kilter comedy.

Party Land Creative Director Natalia Fredericks shared her thoughts about the campaign, saying food has the power to mend relationships, feed the soul, and bring people together.
She goes on to describe the spot, where a family full of secrets eats their woes away at Teriyaki Madness, wondering if delicious food could fix their problems.
Meanwhile, Teriyaki Madness CMO Jodi Boyce said the chain takes their food seriously, "but we don’t take ourselves seriously, and Party Land helped us create an entertaining campaign that will make people smile, and potentially drool a bit, too."
Leaning into the humor that's a huge hit among the Gen Z and millennial demographic, Teriyaki Madness finds footing and establishes a solid and unique brand identity with its latest campaign.
The Power of Teriyaki
The 30-second spot introduces viewers to a family on their way to Teriyaki Madness, as a jingle tells their story.
"It was a hard day for the family, but everything will be OK. ‘Cause Teriyaki’s so delicious that they’ll forgive what you did today," the narrator sings as the father looks nervously at his wife.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, the family is greeted with mouthwatering food, enough for the wife to forgive her husband for what he did.

The singer then reveals what the husband actually did, singing: "Teriyaki Madness! Your wife will forgive you, for sleepwalking through the neighborhood wearing nothing but your shoes. ‘Cause Teriyaki fixes everything!"
The spot ends with smiles all around and the wife forgiving her husband — all thanks to Teriyaki Madness.
Previously, Party Land gave away Super Bowl ideas targeting CMOs and creatives in its very own B2B campaign.
