2023 has seen some unconventional yet convenient technologies, such as a gaming PC from Heineken that doubles as a beer refridgerator.
This year, we're getting something different: an XBox that can make toast.
First spotted on French websites in 2023, the XBox Series S Toaster can now be bought by gamers and toast-lovers alike through Walmart for only $39.99.
The toaster, which resembles an actual Xbox console, is complete with the black air vent and the Xbox logo. When it comes to functionality, it can toast two slices of bread at the same time, comes with a bagel function, a defrost option, a digital LED countdown timer, a removable crumb tray, and six toast browning settings.
However, what makes the special toaster truly stand out is its ability to imprint the Xbox logo on whatever you toast in it.
This is not the first time the gaming giant has had one of its consoles turned into a functional kitchen staple.
In 2021, Microsoft made an actual Xbox Series X refrigerator, born out of memes that poke fun at the console's appearance. While thought to be an April Fool's Joke, the tech giant turned the once-laughed-up meme into a reality. Now, the special refrigerator retails for $199 and may be bought at Walmart.
