Having made a career in the entertainment industry, Yigit has made significant contributions to some of Hollywood’s most iconic projects, working with giants like Netflix, HBO, and Warner Bros.
Yigit is a Los Angeles-based illustrator specializing in the entertainment industry. With a background in architecture and fine arts, he has worked on hundreds of productions for major studios, contributing to everything from creating movie posters to stage concept art for some of the biggest names in Hollywood like Steven Spielberg and Taylor Swift.
A Journey from Istanbul to Hollywood
Yigit’s journey into the world of design and illustration began with a strong foundation in architecture.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University in 2013 before pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
This unique blend of disciplines equipped him with a distinctive perspective on design, blending structural precision with creative expression.
After moving to Los Angeles in late 2015, Yigit quickly established himself in the entertainment industry.

Since then, he’s worked on hundreds of films, television, and live productions for nearly every major studio and network, including, Amazon, Fox, FX, and Universal Pictures.
His expertise involves concept sketches for movie and TV show posters, billboard ads, storyboards, key art design, and stage concept art for concerts and award shows.
One of Yigit’s proudest recent achievements is doing concept art for some of the stages for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which has become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time.
Inspiring Future Creatives
As a jury member of the DesignRush Best Design Awards, Yigit hopes to see more illustrative approaches that put the artwork sense front and center.
He believes that designers should focus on the uniqueness of their work, as it will remain a key differentiator in a world increasingly influenced by algorithms.
Yigit encourages aspiring designers to stay curious and passionate as they continuously refine their skills, building an exceptional portfolio and a solid network and pushing the boundaries of creativity.

He explains that "balancing objectivity and creativity in design involves setting clear goals based on user needs and business objectives, following established design principles, and embracing an iterative process with user feedback."
Yigit balances client work with personal projects and hobbies, believing it to be essential for fueling ongoing inspiration and avoiding burnout.
