1) THE DEFINITION OF DIGITAL PRODUCTS WILL EVOLVE

“In the ongoing digital revolution, the pie slice of digital products will be many times bigger than the old-school physical objects," says Winder. “When the boundaries of the definition of a 'product' become blurred, we will have to reassess what a 'product' actually is."
2) THE LINES BETWEEN DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL WILL BLUR. THE KEY? FOCUSING ON EMPATHY
CEO of Pixoul, Devon Fata, highlighted that as digital experience pours into the physical, the key to engaging the user will be to capitalize on their humanity.
“Product design will look much different in the future," said Fata. “There’s going to be a heavy emphasis on breaking down the digital-physical barrier, especially as IoT and AI bring more capability and convenience to the market. That means scaling product teams around empathy, user-centered design, and emotion."
3) THE SPEED OF PROTOTYPING WILL INCREASE
According to Anand S, CEO of Logidots, businesses will be able to generate prototypes faster and better.
“Designing products is all about understanding and solving your users' problems,." said Anand. “In an era where smart technology like AI is augmenting human expertise, technology can help to speed up requirement gathering, generate instant prototypes, and even predict personalized features based on historical data. "
