After years as the iconic imagery for racing, Formula 1 unveiled a brand-new logo design in fall 2017, spearheaded by the creative agency Wieden + Kennedy. Unfortunately, this new direction was met with lukewarm reception, at best.
But now that they hype (and comparisons to ESPN's logo design and leaky faucets...) have died down, perhaps F1 didn't have the wrong idea. Maybe their streamlined, modern design is just what audiences needed to rev their engines for the 2018 season.
Well, design is partially objective, and at the end of the day, consumers decide whether or not they will connect with a design or not. So we're asking you which Formula 1 logo design do you prefer -- the original (left) or the new design (right)? Vote below!
