Researching and PlanningOnce we had a clear understanding of the client's requirements, we began our research. This involved looking at similar websites for inspiration and conducting user surveys to understand what features users would like to see on the website.
Based on our research, we created a detailed plan that outlined the website's structure, features, and design elements.
Designing the Website
With the client's requirements and our research in mind, we began designing the website using wireframes and mockups. We made sure to incorporate a clean and user-friendly design that would be easy for citizens to navigate.
In addition to aesthetics, we also focused on making the website accessible and user-friendly for individuals with disabilities. This included features such as alternative text for images, keyboard navigation, and color contrast adjustments.
Developing the Website
Once the design was finalized and approved by the client, our development team got to work. We used a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring the website to life. As a government website, security was of utmost importance, so we ensured that all data was encrypted and the website had proper SSL certification.
