Extremely Disappointing Experience with Acuity Bookkeeping and Accounting ServicesI hired Acuity to help with bookkeeping and accounting, but the results were frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of properly categorizing transactions and providing accurate reports, almost everything was labeled as "uncategorized," making the books completely unreliable.They set up several automated apps that required me to pay extra subscription fees. None of these tools integrated correctly, and they only made the situation more confusing. Rather than helping me gain financial clarity, their system created more problems and wasted both time and money.I was hoping for experienced support and clean financial records, but what I received was a disorganized mess. I would not recommend Acuity to anyone looking for dependable accounting services. "

These guys are the worst. The person they had working on our account wasn't doing anything. But she kept billing for lots of hours every week. She also went into our 2023 books- which we didnt authorize and messed stuff up. We paid most of those invoices and then acuity let us know that she had been let go (shocker). Instead of refunding us the money they brought someone in to fix it and gave us 10 hours of free work. It took the new person many hours just to get us back to square one. So acuity charged us an extra $4200. Then today these invoices that were due on March 22 (not even 30 days late) were sent to collections. Run far and fast away from this firm. They hire a bunch of hacks and then bill you for hours that haven't been put in. "

Terrible Experience – Complete Waste of Money!What a rip-off! We paid Acuity Bookkeeping over $1,000 a month, and our books were never kept up to date. Now, we’re forced to pay another bookkeeper to clean up the mess they left behind.As for payroll, it’s even worse. We’ve had a QuickBooks Payroll subscription for years, which we’ve been paying for separately. Acuity simply uses quickbooks payroll, then charged us extra for it!Save your time, money, and sanity—avoid Acuity at all costs. "
