I was emailed a bill for almost 12 months to an email I no longer check ( I did not sign up for billing via email). They finally mailed us a bill in which we paid in full immediately upon receiving it. I also had my business taxes done at their office in which I got an actual bill mailed. Whomever we spoke to informed my spouse that we would not be responsible for paying the interest.
