Butters Innovation

Butters Innovation is a user-centred innovation consultancy based in Liverpool, UK. We are a small team specialising in business transformation, design thinking and industrial design, with an extensive network of designers, engineers, specialist experts and suppliers, enabling us to put together the right team for each project.

We have worked with dozens of small-medium enterprises, startups and university spin-outs, to help them embed a user-centred culture and develop commercially successful new products. We bring decades of experience in user-centred innovation, product design and development, unbiased problem research and discovery, co-design, design for manufacture, supply chain development, regulatory compliance for medical devices and grant funding applications.

Our key principles are ensuring all innovation is informed by end users, customers and other stakeholders, and approaching all projects in a lean and agile way, using prototyping and testing as a way to learn, iterate and improve.
