Affordable professional prototyping, electronics, embedded firmware development, and product design.

Embedism provides affordable engineering services to individuals and companies looking for professional prototypes and short-run production.

Our goal is to lower the barrier to entering the amazing world of hardware by offering fair pricing, industry-insider knowledge, and project structures that give you useful output at every stage. We do this by operating with low overheads, enthusiasm, and experienced, well-connected engineers.

Low Overheads
Embedism operates lean. Really lean. By operating with extremely low overheads we can pass on the savings to you and offer you the best engineering servies possible at an incredibly low price.

Useful Project Outputs
We understand the money and time can be in short supply for a startup so we always provide useful project outputs at every stage of work. This could take the shape of a quick prototype that allows you to secure more investment, or some software that allows you to iterate on your ideas quickly. We will work with you to establish what you are trying to acheive and tailor our work to that.

Great Connections
We have all been involved with consumer hardware since the start of our careers and have a great contact book that you can tap into. If you are looking to go into mass production, need a plastics DFM specialist, or need a PR agency, we can point you in the direction of great companies who can help.

Experience
Weve worked with a variety of hardware so we know what mistakes to avoid. Tap in to our deep knowledge of a huge range of platforms so you can get the hardware that you really need much earlier during your products development.

We couldnt be more thrilled with our experience working with Embedism. From the very beginning, their team took our out-of-the-box ideas and turned them into a reality, far exceeding our expectations! The creativity, technical expertise, and dedication they bring to every project is truly impressive. We've been so pleased with the results that we've come back to them multiple times for new projects, and every time, they deliver perfection. The team is fantastic to work with, always professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them for years to come! Highly recommended! "

I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Embedism.comNathan, Chay, and Nickon a project that involved developing firmware and a custom PCB for an automotive teaching kit to demonstrate electric vehicle (EV) concepts. I can confidently say that they went above and beyond in delivering an outstanding result. From the initial consultation, Nathans technical expertise and attention to detail stood out. He quickly understood the vision we had for the project, which was akin to a "chemistry kit" but focused on showcasing the mechanics of EV technology. His ability to break down complex technical concepts into actionable plans was nothing short of remarkable.Chay played a critical role in the development process, offering innovative solutions at every step. He ensured the firmware was not only robust but highly intuitive, perfectly aligning with the educational aspect of the kit. His creativity and problem-solving approach were invaluable in making the product both functional and user-friendly.What really stood out to me was the seamless collaboration and communication within the Embedism team. They were always available to answer questions, provide updates, and make adjustments as needed. It felt like they were just as passionate about this project as we were, which is rare to find in a development partner. The final product was delivered on time and exceeded all expectations. Our automotive teaching kit is now a truly unique tool that effectively demonstrates EV concepts, and we owe much of that success to the incredible work done by Nathan, Chay, and Nick. "

We came to Embedism with a concept for the first low-tech watch that can track a girls menstrual cycle without an app or smartphone. They took this concept and mapped out a way to get from idea to prototype. They worked in stages, keeping us in close communication on the progress, and listened as we detailed the design barriers that we needed the product to work within. The team solved each problem along the way, creating a first-of-its-kind product. We’ve since gone on to work with the UN, providing the IMMI Watch to girls in emerging markets where access to Internet is limited and unplanned pregnancies are high. Recently we re-engaged with Embedism to work on the second version and create technical specifications to help bridge the prototype-manufacturing process. Trying to launch a new product is a daunting process, and with few studios catering to startups, Embedism provide a much needed service for numerous innovators who want to creat new products! "
