Chose this place due to the 5.0 rating and good reviews. Spoke with thefront desk lady who was nice but made an odd comment that a lot of their reviews come from friends and family. That was concerning. My wife and I were placed with Justin young college kid still in school. Nice guy seemed nervous still learning the business. Couldn't really answer my questions regarding taxes. Went back-and-forth on answers. Corrected himselve multiple times on information. That was concerning as he did not make us feel confident. My wife and I had a simple yes or no question regarding W4 forms. Justin Was unable to answer and told us there was a lady named Alice, who would answer the question for us. When he went to speak with Alice in the hallway we overheard them talking and she declined to answer our question unless we set up an appointment with her and paid her $35 dollar fee. I just thought that was kinda rude. This company uses Drake tax software which is a software that anybody can get online. Google had an advertisement for $49.99 hopefully that was something different but it sill made us concerned. My biggest concern was Justin had a concealed gun on his hip that you could see everytime he stood up from his chair. Throughout our meeting Justin would adjust his holster over his shirt making my wife very uncomfortable. Why would you need a gun for doing people's taxes?
