Lucid Commerce was founded by Galen King, a pioneer in the ecommerce space who has been building on Shopify since the very beginning. Galens journey started over two decades ago, as he built one of the first Shopify studios in the world. He experienced firsthand the challenges that traditional agency models bring to bootstrapping founderslayers of hierarchy, endless meetings, and the slow pace that comes with too much complexity.

Having grown weary of the typical agency approach, Galen set out to create something different: an agency for brands that dont want to work with an agency.
