Reel to Render is a San Jose based production house built for brands that want their stories to land with impact.

We're not a factory, and we don't push out templated content. Every project starts from scratch, guided by what the client actually needs, not whats convenient for us. Our team is small on purpose. Co-founders David Trounstine and Megan Richardson Shy lead every project directly, bringing a mix of hard-earned experience in filmmaking, motion graphics, and post-production. That means clients always get the people who know how to shoot it, cut it, and make it resonate.

We spend a lot of time working with companies in cybersecurity and tech; industries where the products are complex, the risks are high, and the need to be understood is critical. Our job is to strip away the noise and create video thats clear, sharp, and gets people asking more. We've worked with startups finding their footing and global players with established reputations. The common thread is that they want content that doesn't feel safe or forgettable. We deliver pieces that fit the brand, but still have a pulse. Content you'd actually want to watch more than once.
