We were introduced to KDG back in October 2024. They were recommended by a sister company of ours. Our goal was to transition from multiple programs to one program to help streamline and automate as many processes as possible. In order to accomplish this, we needed a company like KDG to help with the customization of the program to accommodate the different needs of the different roles within our organization. I have been using RKKM for years for my taxes and have been very happy with them. This year has been different. Though I had my information there on 3/3 and met with Bruce on 3/10, a month later I still have no information on my return or how much I owe. He indicated it was " probably a standard return". A phone call from me a month later revealed that they were e-mailing a question to an incorrect address. When they got no response for 2 weeks, they did not try a phone number. Someone other than Bruce was doing my return and did not have the information given to Bruce on the 10th of March. Seems their recent merger adversely effected their communications. In a week I have to mail in my return. I still do not know if I owe $6, $600 or $6000.

My bookkeeper unfortunately referred me to Anastasi, Moore & Martin, PLLC. These guys did my taxes for 3 legal entities and It has been a terrible experience for me all the way through. I have had 3 other separate accountants inform me Anastasi, Moore & Martin, PLLC have filed my taxes for 3 of my company’s incorrectly. It will cost me thousands of dollars in IRS fees to amend the mistakes these guys made. 1.) Justin and Ryan do not inform you of how they are classifying your company with the IRS. In addition they DO NOT look at the secretary of state website to verify the type of legal entity you have established with the state for example they do not check who the members or managers are on the LLC or corporation, they do not check how your company is structured for example if you are a registered s-corp or c-corp, they just guess on it and try to file your taxes as fast as possible. 2.) They filed my corporation as a sole proprietorship when I told them it was a corporation and it obviously is a corporation if they took 2 seconds to look on the secretary of state website and the word Inc.-Incorporated is literally at the end of my company name. Then Justin lies to me over email and states: I told them to file my corporation as a sole proprietorship-which does NOT make sense because even if I did tell them to file my c-corp as a sole proprietorship that would not be legal or ethical to file a corporation as a sole proprietorship 3.) Justin and Ryan are both extremely unresponsive and when they do respond it’s with an attitude, they do not provide good customer service at all. Their secretary-Clara then sends my social security number over unsecured email to clarify if it is correct.

CSI Accounting may try to spin this by saying they offered me a new accountant or that taking onboarding fees from my account—after our relationship was terminated—was warranted. It was not. The truth: I received no tax advice, no business guidance, and no real onboarding. The only thing they provided was payroll, which I paid for separately. My assigned tax person came to our meeting without reviewing my file, admitted to being new to the systems, and openly struggled to use them. Charging me for this is indefensible. Withholding services, then helping themselves to my business account after termination, destroyed any trust. Whatever they claim, the fact is simple: I paid for services I never received. I hired CSI Accounting to support my business with the expectation of receiving high-quality service based on their confident promises. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the strong sales pitch, they failed to deliver on key aspects of their service. When I raised concerns and requested a fair negotiation regarding payment for services that were never rendered, they abruptly ended our relationship “effective immediately.” I then began formally disputing those charges through my American Express account. Rather than respond to the dispute in good faith or allow the process to play out, CSI took an entirely inappropriate step: they bypassed the dispute process and directly accessed my business checking account—without my consent—to withdraw the same funds. This withdrawal occurred more than a week after our business relationship had already been terminated and without any form of authorization from me. I did not give permission for this transaction, and their actions represent a serious breach of both trust and professional ethics.
