Vention’s efforts allowed the successful development of the product, resulting in new customers. They provided backend developers, business analysts, UI designers, and QA testers to develop our solution. • AJ Canty
AJ Canty CTO and Co-Founder at Primer
      5.0

Web Development Review from AJ Canty

We’ve been working with Vention for quite some time and consider them an extension of our team, rather than an offshore vendor. We needed solid mobile developers to work with our in-house engineers to build our Primer SDKs on both mobile platforms. This was not a trivial thing as it required a lot of cross-functional communication, but the Vention team was up to the challenge. They quickly adopted the best practices we follow at Primer and proved to be effective and proactive.

    • William Green
      William Green Review from Google
      1.0

William Green's Review Sourced from Google

Extremely Disappointing Experience Thryv did the bare minimum for my business. Meetings were always short, rushed, and seemed like they just wanted to get them over with. The help I received was minimal at best. Eventually, I discovered that my landing page had stopped working — no one ever notified me, yet they continued to charge my monthly payment for absolutely nothing. After I canceled my subscription, their staff still harassed me. Thryv is your typical large corporation: they don’t care about their clients, only about generating revenue. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Excellent group of professionals! I have been with this company for years. We decided to change the website. We were able to get things looking fresh and new within two weeks! The consultants that worked with me really had great ideas and a professional execution. The video meetings were very helpful. They handled everything. I was very pleased with the results. Highly Recommended.

My experience with Thryv has been excellent. The company is very responsive and forward thinking. Everyone I have worked with has been knowledgeable and experienced with an excellent attitude. I have had questions answered promptly and have 100% confidence in the best possible outcome in my partnering with Thryv. The products they offer are helping my business operate much more efficiently and faster than before and Im happy to know they offer a lot of support 24 hours/day

Frequently Asked Questions About CRM Consulting Firms

What services do CRM consulting companies in the USA provide?

US CRM consulting firms help organizations select, implement, customize, and optimize customer relationship management platforms that centralize data and improve customer experiences.

Offerings vary by provider but most focus on the following core service areas:

  • CRM strategy & platform selection: CRM needs assessment, vendor comparison, requirements gathering, and roadmap development.
  • CRM implementation & customization: Platform setup, workflow automation, data modeling, custom objects, dashboards, and integrations.
  • CRM migration & data management: Data cleansing, migration from legacy systems, system consolidation, and quality assurance.
  • Sales, marketing, & service enablement: Sales pipeline design, marketing automation setup, customer service workflows, and reporting.
  • Ongoing CRM optimization & support: System optimization, user adoption support, performance monitoring, and ongoing enhancements.

How much does CRM consulting cost in the United States?

The cost of CRM consultants can vary based on platform complexity, number of users, integrations, and the level of customization required.

Based on our agency listing data:

  • Entry to mid-range CRM projects: From around $1,000–$50,000+, depending on scope, user count, and implementation depth.
  • Larger CRM implementations and customizations: Expect $25,000–$100,000+ for advanced workflows, integrations, and multi-team deployments.
  • Hourly rates: US companies commonly list hourly rates in the $25–$55 range, with some agencies advertising higher rates that extend into the low- to mid-hundreds per hour

When can clients expect ROI from a CRM consulting project?

Return on investment from CRM consultants tends to happen in stages, as adoption and optimization progress:

  • Short term (1–3 months): Improved data visibility, cleaner pipelines, and reduced manual processes.
  • Mid term (3–9 months): Increased sales productivity, better lead management, and improved reporting accuracy.
  • Long term (9–18+ months): Higher customer retention, stronger forecasting, scalable revenue operations, and improved customer lifetime value.

What is the normal project timeline for US CRM consulting services?

CRM consultants timelines vary depending on business size, number of users, and system complexity. However, most US-based projects follow predictable timeframes:

  • CRM assessment & planning: 2–4 weeks
  • Small-to-mid CRM implementations: 1–3 months
  • Enterprise CRM rollouts: 6–12+ months
  • Optimization & enhancements: Ongoing

How do CRM consultant requirements differ across US industries?

CRM requirements vary by industry due to differences in customer journeys, compliance requirements, and operational complexity:

  • B2B & Professional Services: Pipeline visibility, account management, and forecasting accuracy.
  • eCommerce & Retail: Customer segmentation, omnichannel engagement, and marketing automation.
  • Healthcare: HIPAA-compliant data management, patient engagement workflows, and reporting.
  • Financial Services: Security, compliance, and complex customer lifecycle tracking.
  • Technology & SaaS: Subscription management, usage tracking, and revenue operations alignment.
