Despite receiving a notification that our website was finished, over 70% of the basic functions for an online store were missing upon review. This was not the standard I expected from an experienced company, especially given the premium price we paid.While we worked together to address the feedback, I ended up contributing to the development process myself to expedite progress. After making the final paymenton the understanding that we would continue refining the website during the agreed three-month technical support periodI was met with limited follow-up on my comments.I provided organized feedback in a Google Doc, categorized as critical or normal, expecting proactive communication and updates. Instead, I had to engage in constant follow-ups, a process I only expect when working with freelancers, not professional agencies. This lack of initiative was frustrating, especially as I had communicated my prior negative experiences with freelancers and chose Dot IT for a seamless, professional service.Additionally, while we agreed to use the same server and hosting, the basic theme used was a surprise. I had anticipated more effort in redesigning the site, particularly as that was the primary reason for the contract.

I engaged Pressiqa (invoiced via The Alpha Linkers Limited) for a paid, guaranteed placement in an MSN Top 10 [category] to Follow in 2025 article. Scope included a short feature paragraph, an SEO backlink, and a social graphic to announce the feature. I paid USD 400 on Apr 9, 2025.An MSN link with my name did go live, but only for a few days before becoming inaccessible without notice. After the takedown, Pressiqa proposed publishing my profile on a different website (ceogazette.com) that I had not agreed to. I asked for documentation of the cited MSN policy change; none was provided to me. I was also sent a promotional graphic that used Microsoft/MSN branding and stated msn.com names [my name] among the Top 10, which in my view implies an editorial accolade I did not receive.The short-lived link created practical problems. I had already shared the MSN URL in proposals, my media kit, and social posts; when it disappeared, those assets contained dead links and I had to remediate them, which impacted credibility with clients and event planners.I filed a PayPal dispute for service not as described, attaching the contract/pitch, invoice, screenshots of the dead link, and emails offering a substitute site. On Aug 12, 2025, PayPal closed the case in my favor and refunded the payment.Communication was prompt but did not resolve core issues or provide third-party documentation supporting the removal. Based on my documented experience, I would not engage again.If you consider services like this, insist on a minimum publication duration in writing, verify the hosting platforms policies directly, avoid substitutions you didnt agree to, and pay through a method with buyer protection.
