Web Development Review from Tifiny Swedensky

Agency Partner built us a pretty website... but it was slow and not technically optimized for SEO. The backend was very buggy, with many "useless" sections in the WordPress dashboard. I am a WordPress developer, but I am also the company's marketing director so we chose to have the site developed by an outside company. I spent approximately 20 hours working on the backend removing useless "features" and optimizing the site to pass the Core Web Vitals. It should've been a huge red flag when the company wouldn't show us the backend before launch. Additionally, when they launched the site they "no-indexed" the entire website! Recently, I sent a ticket to support to fix 404 pages. After getting no response for several days, I went into the site and fixed the error myself. They had the audacity to send me a "we fixed the error" email 24 hours after we fixed the issues ourselves! If you are looking for a well-built site, look elsewhere. This company is only good for pretty site that loads slow and is bogged down with junk. The company reached out and heard my complaints. There's not a lot they can do to make this right (since most of the work they left undone was finished by me), but at least they listened. They extended our site warranty to help fix any outstanding issues. I'm adjusting my rating to three-stars.

Logo Design Review from Alex Adamez

Great service, fast and friendly. They were referred to me by a business colleague. I used their graphic design service to do my logo. I had a design that I created and wanted them to replicate. They also provided several other options for me to consider & compare. The turn-around time for them to complete was fast, just a couple of days. Will definitely have them assist on my web page

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Cause of a Kind for a long time, helping them hire engineers for their projects, and they’ve been an amazing client throughout. They run a great dev shop, friendly, collaborative, and always building high quality work. We always recommend them to our clients who're looking for software agencies bec we know how they work and how they choose their engineers for their most sensitive projects. I also recently sponsored a few episodes of their podcast Strictly From Nowhere, the content is excellent and Justin came super prepared with smart, insightful questions. Highly recommend them as both partners and creators. Super friendly and smart guys

I strongly recommend COAK if you want to work with something more than a standard Software Development Studio. For clients, COAK becomes a partner that helps to grow the business from the first day, from designing the solution until putting online using a sharp, effective, and agile business model. Anyone can code, but COAK, as a Software Development and SEO Studio, is beyond that. They know what they do, and they do it well. As a developer, is a great place to learn and to share. It has the space and the agility that provides small companies but the focus and the effectiveness of a medium/big size company. The team is pretty diverse, but being a team member is not only to be a professional resource but a person with daily problems, and that is respected. Mike and Justin know what the game's name is, and they play it very well.

ON BEHALF OF RTD LOGISTICS ... As a small Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and B2B company in the Service industry, we are both grateful for and thrilled with inSegment’s work to redevelop and redesign our website, our core business driver. At the very start of our project, we were immediately impressed when inSegment’s VP of Client Success Ilona R. took the time to drive 1.5 hours and conduct in-person, onsite interviews with our team-- both executive management and employees-- in an effort to educate herself and inSegment about our business before the project kick-off. Once the project was underway three (3) qualities instantly secured our respect: [1] technical expertise from domain propagation/ hosting to wire framing and SEO [2] proactive suggestions to improve the site User Experience (UX) and Customer Experience (CX) and finally [3] inSegment senior management’s attendance in all agency-client meetings, a significant investment in time. Overall, and most importantly, the results from our post- website relaunch speak volumes about our experience with inSegment: we EXCEEDED all our Success Criteria and KPIs! Industrial Design Company in United States FAQs

What services does an industrial design company in United States provide?

An industrial design company in the United States provides specialized services centered on designing products for mass production, with focus on their form, function, and mass manufacturability. At its core, it creates concepts for products like appliances, furniture, and vehicles, and collaborates with engineers to make sure the final product is easy-to-use, aesthetically pleasing, and solves problems for the consumer.

As part of their offering, these specialists create visualizations and conceptual designs through sketching, 3D modeling, and prototyping to refine the product's form, function, and appearance (color, material, finish).

What information do I need to provide to an industrial design firm?

A design brief for an industrial design firm should clearly outline the project overview, specifying the problem the product must solve and its desired features. You must provide a detailed profile of the target audience and market, including any existing research, competitor analysis, and brand guidelines.

To make sure the collaboration runs without friction, you should define the project scope, budget, and timeline beforehand, detailing specific deliverables expected at each stage of the development process. This information will enable the firm to align its creative and technical efforts with your objectives and constraints.

How do industrial design companies in United States handle project revisions?

Industrial design companies in United States generally integrate revisions as a structured phase within their design process, often following concept presentation. They establish clear limits on the number of revision rounds included in the initial agreement to prevent scope creep and manage client expectations.

Effective handling relies heavily on clear communication and detailed documentation of client feedback, wherein the firms frequently use collaborative platforms and version control systems. Revisions that exceed the agreed-upon scope or fundamentally change the design direction are typically classified as a "change request" and may incur additional costs and adjustments to the project timeline.

How do I evaluate the expertise of an industrial design agency?

To evaluate an industrial design agency's expertise, you should review its portfolio for projects similar in complexity, industry, and manufacturing requirements to your own, looking for evidence of successful market launch rather than just impressive renderings. Second, ask about its design process and methodology to determine whether they emphasize user research and technical feasibility.

You should also inquire about the team's specific experience in your sector and the credentials of the lead designers who will be directly involved in your project. Finally, check industry standings and client references to confirm their track record of delivering viable, high-quality products on time and within budget.

What tools and technologies do industrial design companies in United States use?

Industrial design companies in United States primarily rely on CAD software for 3D modeling and detailed engineering, with popular programs including SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Autodesk Alias for surface modeling. This digital stack is complemented by 3D printing technology (additive manufacturing) for rapid prototyping and testing physical forms.

Beyond core design, these firms also use simulation software for testing, Adobe Creative Cloud for visualization and presentation, and newer technologies like generative design and AI tools to refine complex designs and explore sustainable options.
