Avoid this company at all costs. Like many others have experienced, I was cold-called by a smooth-talking external sales agent whose sole purpose was to close the deal. They hit hard with relentless pressure, testimonials, and Zoom calls designed to wear you down. I reluctantly signed up for a six-podcast package costing over $3,000 AUD — an absurd amount for what’s delivered (and I haven’t even received half of it). After signing, communication turned into a mess of generic emails and poor service. I was assigned an "Account Manager" — clearly an overseas VA — who lacked professionalism, had broken English, and provided no follow-up. Even emails from their so-called boss, Lewis, go unanswered. It’s obvious these are automated, unmonitored canned emails. Reaching out via LinkedIn went nowhere. At one point, after not hearing anything for months, I pushed for a reply and eventually learned my account manager had left — with zero communication about it. Weeks between emails, late-night replies before weekends, and radio silence in between has become the norm. Their media manager — again, clearly a VA — takes months to edit or deliver clips.Nearly two years in, the results are basically non-existent. I’ve had to shift my messaging and target audience myself. Boost’s response? Push me into a "PR campaign" with no clear explanation of the benefits or process. They claimed to have contacted all relevant podcasts, but results say otherwise — most don’t respond or aren’t relevant. I even sourced my own guest spot and sent in a professionally recorded video, only to receive low-res, AI-generated clips in return, with poor captions and no proper intro hooks. Of the six podcasts promised, only two came through. The promo flyer they made was poorly done and required updates — I had to chase them for even the smallest edits, with no updated version ever provided. When I demanded actual proof of their PR campaign effectiveness, they sent me an email with 100 vague, redacted screenshots of testimonials — no names, no context, and no real value. It felt like smoke and mirrors. I honestly don’t believe they understand what an effective PR campaign even is.In today’s world, where content creation tools are readily available, companies like Boost Media are losing relevance fast. They boast of a vast "Podcast Network," but what they really have is just a spreadsheet of names — no statuses, contact info, or proof of outreach. When I asked for it, that’s all I got — a basic list.I’m now over $3,000 out of pocket, with no meaningful return and no partial refund, even though they’ve failed to uphold their end of the contract. It’s too late for a chargeback, and I’ve been left with wasted time and a bitter experience. That money would’ve been far better spent on Google SEO, Meta ads, or legitimate directory listings.Final red flag: their last Instagram post was over 70 weeks ago, and they don’t respond to Google reviews. That tells you everything you need to know about how much they care.Avoid, avoid, avoid. "Marcel Van der Horst Photographer's Review Sourced from Google
Working with Boost Media is always easy, efficient and highly effective. I have received my most high quality leads through articles they created. Lewis and the team are fantastic! Lewis at Boost Media proactively contacted me a few years ago and we have been working together ever since. His ability to understand my business and develop PR opportunities to showcase our abilities is sensational. I highly recommend Lewis and his team. Thank you Lewis, I look forward to working with you in years to come! "suzie ninevski's Review Sourced from Google
I recently had the pleasure of working with Boost Media for my brand Botanical Skincare Lab. I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team at Boost Media was professional, creative, and attentive to every detail. They truly captured the essence of my brand and conveyed it beautifully through their writing. The process was seamless, and their expertise in media and communication is evident. I highly recommend Boost Media to anyone looking to elevate their media presence. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job! "Kim Guseli's Review Sourced from Google
Lewis and his team at Boost Media have been great to work with. Thanks to their efforts, I was featured on several high-profile podcasts and articles. Shortly after starting our collaboration, one of my clients mentioned that she discovered me through one of their articles, which ultimately led to a project worth over $16,000. The return on investment has been great. I definitely recommend Lewis and his team for their PR services. "Ryan Caswell's Review Sourced from Google
A fantastic team! Multiple people have assisted our business getting onto nearly a dozen podcasts in Australia, UK and USA. Easy process to create a bio and they do everything behind the scenes and send you a link to book. Have already recommended to other businesses. Well done Lewis and team! "Project Name: Podcasts
