I strongly advise staying away from this firm. In my experience, they were completely unprofessional and irresponsible. One of the owners, Bob Jahelka, took payment for work on two years of tax returns but failed to file anything with the IRS on my behalf. As a result, I was hit with thousands of dollars in fines.When I followed up, he claimed to have no paperwork and even demanded more money. There was no accountability, no transparency, and no follow-through. It felt like I was completely abandoned after paying for a service that was never delivered.If you're considering working with this firm—don’t. Save yourself the stress, financial damage, and legal mess. This is not a business you can trust. "

Horrible experience, 0 stars!!!!!! If your taxes are important I say don’t trust it to DSJ 🤢🤮😡they had mistakes on my return which incurred IRS penalties/fines as a result (not just a "corrected" payment, but actual penalties), and the moment I reached out to them about it they permanently ghosted me and stopped responding "

Don't typically post negative reviews but had a poor experience with DSJ and recommend to find other tax preparers. The group is not reliable, poor communicators, and under delivers. Tried to schedule a call to discuss a tax filing and was never scheduled after multiple communications. They indicated they will have initial report prepared in 1 week and followed up with no response - followed up after another week and provided comments but minor changes couldn't be made without delaying filing and was jammed up on tax filing. Reached out after several times to try to schedule a call after tax season to discuss filing and received no response from multiple communications. Good relationships are built on trust, reliability, and communication and DSJ did not meet any of these tests. "

I sit on the board of a non profit, and we reached out to DSJ when we our old accountant retired. Our initial filing went well, but then we needed to get in touch with the IRS to resolve a penalty, and they started dodging our calls and gave us the run around for MONTHS. We finally just gave up and found another firm. Not reliable if you are a small business. "

While I know Gigi Boudreaux for over 15 years, i only began a business relationship with DSJ CPA in March 2020. what first began as assistance with my firms PPP application has become full service CPA guidance and tax preparation for my firm and my personal accounting needs since September 202 when my former accountant, my dad, passed away.Having a close family member do all of my personal and business accounting for 37 years, i was concerned i would lose that personal attention.However, I am more than pleased to say, Gigi and her team have made the transition seamless and I am very comfortable that i am in as good hands as before.
