Etalon Translation Agency

Etalon has been a translation bureau since 2010, with offices in Bratislava (Tomášikova 223/26), Kyiv and Kharkiv. Our work is document legalisation rather than general copy: birth, marriage and death certificates, diplomas and their supplements, criminal-record extracts, powers of attorney, contracts, articles of association and commercial-register extracts. For Slovakia we arrange úradný (súdny) preklad through translators listed by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic; for Poland, Czechia and Germany we route the file to a sworn translator registered in the country where the document will be filed, because certification done elsewhere is often refused. We also handle apostille and consular legalisation of Ukrainian documents. Originals can be brought to the Bratislava office or sent online; finished translations are returned in person, by post or electronically across the whole of Slovakia.
